Beach etiquette

September 19 2020

I often venture to my local nudist beach. Often to enjoy being nude. At times with a buddy but not always. I never approach others on the beach however I would not mind being approached by a single man, woman or couple. What is the etiquette with this?

I also enjoy going to my local nudist beach, Swanbourne if anyone’s interested. And I actually just bit the bullet the other day and asked this lovely lady if she was coming in the water, introduced myself and we hit it off, set up next to each other and had a lovely conversation. It’s hard for a guy I think to approach a women in this situation who isn’t a total creep as the vast majority of men on there seem to be. Hope this helps but would love to hear other people’s views.

I'd give a slightly different response to a single lady compared to a guy.... As a single lady you're much less likely to offend someone or come across as creepy, hypocritical maybe, but a reflection on society. Same response as to the single guys that ask, only a small percentage on a nude beach are swingers, just engage in regular conversation and see where it goes. A large percentage of guys will be keen, whether in the lifestyle or not, decent chance of finding an interested couple. Rememer sexual activity in public is illegal, so be careful. Unfortunately encouraging you to find others on a beach will likewise encourage the single guys and a lot of us spend a lot of time on here discouraging it! For the record we wouldn't play with someone on a beach, but we'd definitely get a phone number for a later occasion. Just like anywhere else, start a conversation and see.... on a nude beach at least you can steer the conversation towards "anything ever happen around here" they'll either pick up on it, or give you the cold shoulder, or maybe a yes, but we don't. It's a conversation starter at the least!

Just lay back and enjoy the sun. Don't worry, you are being watched from afar (from everyone) . They'll come to you. When I go alone, I find most guys are respectful however some are creepy as fuck. Tell them to piss off if they come to close and it creeps you out. Enjoy

As a guy I probably don't understand the word creep or perv etc as much as women do. However one must understand that in a society where laws against nudity exist and folks are not free to do as they please will attract unwanted attention. Starve for a day or two and if you see any food the next day are you going to say the person is a glut? Men are different from women period..

Fishmonger.....so if people go to a nude beach they are setting themselves up for unwanted attention? Its a nude beach not a sex beach. Some guys little head rules their larger one 🙄
