People all have different believes, experiences and reasons for doing things, so to answer your question: Nothing. I give my opinions on emails, email-headings, profiles etc. But cannot comment on the people behind them, as I know nothing about them. (Ok, think I used the term "misguided souls" once, hehe). Though if I've exchanged three or four messages with someone and they were all positive, I'm happy to have them message me at my Gmail address that was especially created for RHP.

As Meander says- your private/work e-mail is exactly that private or for work- your other generic rhp hotmail gmail etc account is perfect for such communication :)

I find it easier to exchange messages at my personal email account instead of here, because I don't stay log in nor do I log back in often. So a reply can be easily delayed in my case. I have no problem in giving out my email address, and/or phone number as long as I can sense a good and safe vibe from the man. After all, if things don't progress after a while, all I need to do is block his number from reaching my phone (love today's advanced technology lol), or ignore his email.......just like a guy did to me the other week when he changed his mind :-) - Posted from rhpmobile

Have two phone numbers, one RHP and one regular. (Though everyone here who has it has the regular one.)

they would frown upon me accessing RHP at work I think. That's why I'm happy to exchange emails when both of us think it is right. ET xox

never give out my email address. I've only given it to two people whom I met in real life and trusted them. Other than that...not going to happen and never after 3 or 4 messages. My safety come first. I like to keep some things private and away from RHP. You just don't know who or what ya going to get. Foxy

as for that, only a selected few have that. Same thing again.....my safety and privacy comes first. Not going to happen after 3-4 messages either. Foxy

I have to shake my head at some people, who on first email gives out their mobile number.... Jeeze I reckon if I did that, I would go nuts with it ringing all time and would have to turn it off..just sayin LOL Foxy

Maybe I'm missing something here...... but RHP already has an email channel..... So why would you want someone's private email? So that you can email more, somewhere else?! Endless email tennis? No thanks. But a phone number....... that's a logical step for ongoing positive communication DG

Email (created for RHP-purposes) is a lot easier than the site because it can be checked with one tap on an app rather than the longer process of logging into here. Plus, email looks benign to anyone who may glance at the phone / computer screen, while RHP looks rather racy. So, if someone seems like a reasonable person I'll offer my email, but I don't try to pressure anyone into using it. As for phone numbers, we don't like to give them out. The earliest we will do so is after a meet and greet, but there are people we've seen several times without exchanging phone numbers. Between text apps and the option to make phone or video calls online, exchanging phone numbers becomes unnecessary.

Been asked frequently on a first message ... that definately is NEVER going to happen. If someone cannot log back in to collected a message Here then they go into the reject group. - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'Mischeviouslad'So why would you want someone's private email? So that you can email more, somewhere else?! Endless email tennis? I don't like email ping pong either, but sometimes a guy won't have a face pic on here and no pic, no date.

... well, maybe not my work one. But since I don't have a face pic on here and I don't like texting photos it's probably the best way to get to know me.

Quoting 'Mischeviouslad'I have a rule.... no pic no chat The request for a face pic will be in my first mail. If the man in question doesn't offer/agree to send one, I will no longer be interested.

but after 3 or 4 massages I'd probably expect not only your email address, but something on Valentine's Day too..It's easy enough to set up a gmail address exclusively for this kinda stuff, so I'd say it's case by case - assuming you've confirmed they're not a spambot or intending to put you in a barrel, email's a much more convenient way to message someone than to and fro via rhp's msg service. Plenty of cheap phones that accept more than one SIM these days too so you don't need a utility belt like Batman to carry around all your phones.

Sure happy to give out an email, whether that email is mine or not who knows, but don't hold back on sending all the dirty images you want. In other word i don't send any contact details unless i am sure about the person, and i see a friendship at minimum developing.

Once a level of trust has been established, sharing email addresses established just for RHP is fine. Some people I've contacted are reluctant to post pics on RHP but are willing to do over email. Also, I've shared Skype addresses established for RHP for instant messaging rather than using RHP messaging

We have a different email and phone for RHP etc until we meet and connect with people and feel safe. Then will give them either of our personal numbers when it feels right. Gives enough distance to me. I prefer email to messaging here as it's easier for me to access and when I want to write something longer. - Posted from rhpmobile

I have a private address specifically for that reason, I don't use it for any more than a pic swap . - Posted from rhpmobile
