It means what it say, the guy is willing to experiment. He may not be sure what he's getting into and probably hasn't done it before but that's where the fun starts. But if he is 'experimenting' it's probably best to establish some ground rules before you go to far.

From my point of view i'm not bi. I don't fancy men and never feel any connection other than friendship with them, the thought of kissing a guy turns me off. On the other hand if the play is in tune with broad minded people i can still get a hard on giving a guy a bj. Still wouldn't kiss him though or i'd be soft in an instant and would likely ruin the night for me. Strange huh? lol. Its not something i usually examine, just the way i feel and have learnt by experience. Given the options available in the profile i just feel that "experimental" is the one that suits me best. Have to admit myself that its not perfect though, i experimented a long time ago lol.

I think it is used when guys are open minded but not necessarily bi. We have 4 friends (guys) who are bi.. we have played with them. I am sure I am not bi as I havent had the urge to jump on them but we all have fun and share my better half. There is really any choice that says - dont mind if you are bi, am not homophobic but dont want you myself as I simply prefer girls! Other guys have given it a go .. may play with a guy depending who it is but usually wouldnt dream of it .. they much prefer girls. Experimental I guess is close.

I have it in there cos I'm not bi or bi curious but I'm not a homophobe either. I'd have sex with a girl right next to two gays guys going for it if everyone was into it. I'd be part of a bang with gay guys involved. I just 'probably' wouldn't be too interested in doing stuff with them. Oh, and I'm experimenting with things like fuck buddies, friends with benefits, swinging, BDSM... lots of things. :)

I was re-reading it and there was great diversity of opinion. I don;t think experimental is restricted to your gender preferences. I think it is about broadening your sexual horizons in very many different ways. Same sex experimentation is just one of the aspects you might be exploring. Wildly curious

I would say experimmental covers trying almost anything in the hope of pulling a few more bed friends and slowly admitting that yes you are bi.

Given that its a question of ur Sexuality... its really hard to say. Myself... i'm bi. But I was never a fan of saying "ImBi". Perhaps its for people who dont like labels? I've found ppl who have chosen "Experimental" and basicaly into anything. Be it same sex love, cross dressing, water sports, dogging, BDSM ect. (But not all ppl) maybe its a combo of sexuality and intrest. *Boo*

The term experimental was in reference to the options given in same sex preference in the profile. While i've no objection myself in expanding it further i can imagine some might. Re the bi sexuality options i would really like to see one that reads "can be bi" rather than "experimental" or "bisexual". Re if there was an overall sexuallity preference then i would feel happy and comfortable ticking "experimental" lol.

i would never engage in a relationship with a man so i dont consider myself bisexual. when playing with couples if the man is keen then i dont mind mm contact, oral, anal whatever and to my way of thinking thats experimenting. but as i said my veiw is one can only call themselves truly bisexaul if they are prepared to engage in a one on one relationship with either sex. thats my interpretation of the word bisexual. thanks, p

it is interesting that both our posts only wondered about guys putting experimental in their preferences... We asked this same question last year cos we came across guys who wrote Experimental but then freaked when we said we weren't into bi guys!! So we don't know what they thought it meant but to us it means willing to experiment with guys... so fellas, if that's not what you want to do, you better remove that term from your profile because it'll give people the wrong idea. It wouldnt be on the top of the list for experience with a new partner. After some quality experiences together then yeah. I guess by saying that being screwed with strap-on is ok I would relinquish the freedom to choose who to do it with. Also its obvious to me that unless I do anal regulary it will hurt a bit if Im not treated gently.

I love anal play and have a wife that does not mind indulging in the activity. I cant think of any time i may like to partake in mm activities singularly, but as part of a no holes barred friendship, bring it on. Having said that, i have trouble finding the "right" people for this. Maybe best left in the realm of fantasy. Experimental Pete

I agree with alittlekink9 on this one, i myself chose experimental because i have no desire to have one on one with another guy it just doesnt do it for me just as kissing a guy doesnt either mind you im yet to try it so i cant really knock it. but when it comes to male male fun in a group then i can be turned on and enjoy both sex's and there will just be weeks where any thought of male contact doesnt interest me so i felt i didnt have the right to call myself bi for it would miss lead bi guys to thinking i was interested if that makes sense while i didnt want to close the door to groups and couples.

I'm definitely not bi. No thoughts about that. However most of what I've been involved with up until this point would be considered "vanilla" sex for a lot of people out there. Maybe I'd like to try a bit of light S&M? Maybe FFM? Maybe a lot of things... but if you don't ask, you'll never know ;P

I found the best way to describe a relatively straight person who's contemplating having sex with someone of the same gender as "bi-curious". Experimental just means they're open to different things, not necessarily having sex with someone of the same gender. At least that's how it works in my head.

We question this too sometimes. We have been told from those we asked it means they are straight themselves but are happy to have gay people in the room or playing. There should be an icon option saying that for sexual orientation. We usually skip the experimental men.

I would have to say there is no difference in a guy being experimental to a girl being experimental! We all have thoughts, fantasies and ideas in our heads that we may like or not like in reality, so i suppose we have to try things out to know, not necessarily same sex interaction! I would say open mindedness would probably be better wording than experimental.

Well i'd consider myself experimental, but i'm not in the least bit interested in the same sex. That means I want to try different things, positions, fulfill some fantasies, etc with the Opposite sex. You need to look at their orientation if you wanted to determine if someone is Bi or not.
