About 3 hours drive was the furthest I/we went. That covered Sydney, Canberra and a bit of the South coast. These Days I drive 8 hrs to go to work for the week, so who knows.Cheers Felonius

If it's to meet people for the first time for a meet and greet coffee we pic a place central to both people. We really only meet people from Brisbane metro area or sunshine coast. The only time we would meet people out of town that couldn't meet us near to our locations is if we were all ready passing through or in there area for other reasons. As for traveling to actually play with people. Nine times out of ten we host at our place in Brisbane or our weekender on the sunshine coast so usually we dont travel at all.Tim

With my current situation, local it is for me. I live fairly close to the Sydney CBD, so there's no shortage of potential. Drinks in the city, then see what happens. When I've got more free time I wouldn't rule out anything interstate. I probably wouldn't arrange a trip specifically to meet someone for the first time, but there are always multiple reasons to travel around the country. If my schedule had an opening, I'd probably try and find... well... an opening! I did make an international booty call once!

Well Brae I have driven 3 hours for a weekend of fun and I have been to a Melbourne a few times. I wouldn't do that unless I feel that I would have a reasonable connection or some chemistry with the person or in my case the persons. And there are times when I am going to be in the area anyway so you meet up with people, for me often people I have become friendly with via the forums. I do have in my profile that I am not interested in out of towners.. I am not really interested in one night stands and men often will message you with "I will be in Sydney on the 6th are you up for some fun". Often no pictures no preliminary conversation. For me... Not interested in that. :)

Gosh the fun I could have then...I'd be straight over to WA where all the hot people seem to live. What is it in the water over there?*drool*. Krissy I could pick you up and drop you off wherever you liked;) Ms Looking I did my first bit of travel for a tryst last week, drove 200km to meet with divine WA boy;). But haven't done that before. I have had men fly from Melbourne and Sydney to meet up with me, and not at my suggestion either. Generally I don't normally look outside my postcode, just too hard. Minxy xx

And then back to WA after it all went to shit in a hand bag. But depends on the person, the time spent, the feelings etc etc etc. But probably anywhere in Australia.

Well, i'm currently in Perth lying next to an RHP friend, so I guess that speaks for itself...First and only person i've travelled for though, I usually want them to come to me In fact, he came my way first, otherwise I doubt we would have ever met. Dida xx

I'm a romantic at heart and will travel should I feel a connection is truly there.Once, when I was 23, I travelled to Portland, Oregon, on whim, and I had 8 days off due to my shift cycle. Of course, on meeting (and this was the days before skype and webcam chatting) we were both probably majorly disappointed with each other, however I did have an excellent time over there, arriving in time for Halloween dressups and party crashing and then driving to Disneyland! We never stayed in touch after that. It was a lesson to me. Phone conversations and emails just don't do it. Skype and webcam chatting help and give you a much better idea as to how you'll actually get along but really, nothing can make up for the missing senses, touch and smell. If someone wants to meet me, they're more than welcome to come, but now I'll only really travel for people I've already met. Older and more cynical these days, oh for the easy carefree ways of youth.
