In the latest iteration of my existence in online dating, I’ve listened to my “ghost of conquests past” and recognised patterns that lead to very short-term escapades. A more mature outlook than the “what the fuck’s all this about?” 30 year old me dictates investment in a more mid-term adventure is on the cards. But I am curious to know from all you lot; how long do your fuck buddy situations last on average before one of you calls it out of boredom or loss of that spark? I’d say for me it’s probably been 3-5 play dates with some serious outliers thrown in.

I'm not into fuck buddies, so it's when the connection has run its course or dies. Anywhere from 1 date to 10 months thus far. I've had a couple of women (whom I didn't play with) tell me their number is 3. After 3 play dates, they're done - Alex

Been with my FWB for nearly 4 years. Never been bored. We try and catch up every 3 weeks +- 1-2 weeks.

Anywhere between 2 weeks to a few months depending on attraction and compatibility...

At least 10 catch ups or 6 months, unless both of us communicated that it was going to be a one time thing. Sex gets better over time
