Go to Docklands to try and find your costume replacement. Docklands is located just on the edge of Melbourne CBD and you can get there by catching Tram #85 from Bourke Street tram stop. The tram station is located exactly on the corner of Bourke and Swanston Streets. Good luck.- Posted from rhpmobile

I could led you a costume, x belly dancer hereyou can sew it by hand, just thread beads and hang them off your bra. black bra, is the bestI have done that before. just hand sew beads all over a low cut brano body notices the bra , just your tits.

sweetgem - thanks for the suggestions!! Someone also suggested that I could check out Chinatown (which I want to do anyway regardless).TR - if I had more time I would probably just make something up (with a LOT of help from my mother), but as it is I still have a shitload to do before I go so just don't have the time. I love that you used to be a belly dancer though!! I'd like to try it for real, take some lessons...I love the moves. And the costumes.cold_ass_honky - thanks also for the suggestions and the offer of assistance . Pretty sure those sort of places would a bit out of the price range I can and want to spend though.I *may* have a solution....hopefully it works out.

Take a bra and bling it up a bit. That's all you will have to wear. Oops I can see that TR has made the same suggestion. I would do that. Seriously most people I am sure will be half naked, so you don't want to be over dressed do you! Other wise those $2 type shops sometimes have costumes or something you may be able to substitute on the cheap.

The Vietnamese discount shops have that sort of thing super cheap. They're all over the place. Smith St Fitzroy has some good ones.

I can't get all the eyeliner off and am getting laughed at :(. But I digress, there are heaps of $2 stores close to the city and Awesome's idea is a quick tram ride from the city.

Any oil you have in the cupboard, olive oil etc. use with a cottonball or tissue, then wash face with cleanser or soap to remove oil.

I have an alternative sorted and although I'm still hanging onto the hope that the original one turns up today because it was a bit cooler and blingier, at least I won't need to run around Melbourne like a headless chicken trying to find something on Friday, and I'll have time to check out I probably won't go near a tram until Saturday when I have to go to Prahran, because the one time I went on a tram in Melbourne it was a disaster hehe.

Good think I organised the replacement, the original didn't show up. What a waste of money. Good thing it didn't cost much.
