Wolf Totem is a fantastic piece of music. I guess along those lines Otyken is a band I really dig and coming from the same place with their culture at the fore of their music The one artist and his music that did seem to have a big impact positively in my life was Nick Drake. The owner of a shop I frequented lent me his Pink Moon album. I was maybe 30 and suffering from bipolar and his lyrics just spoke to me as he clearly suffered similar things. Wonderful musician that sadly left us early in his life

Well I am reticent to reply as you may find this post gets censored soon enough. I've been saddened by the lack of activism in music any more, I grew up during the 80's where a lot of music had something to say about the crap going on in the world but I just don't seem to be able to find the same these days. So for this time I was drawn to music that soothes my soul, from DMB to Paul Kelly and I may have to hide forever but a lot more country music has crept into by heavily blues and rock based leanings. I feel like podcasts have taken the place of music for people who want to stand up and be counted, I just love how Joe Rogan interviews people, he allows them to speak for hours and get their true selves across unlike the completely incompetent MSM that now is completely biased without exception. The warriors are there but their existence is suppressed. It will be interesting to follow how RFK Jr does in these elections, I fear his results will be an indication of just how spineless and brainless the majority is. Oh how I'd love to be wrong on this one.

For me, I supported local Aussie bands during COVID, I started listening to a band called Sly Withers & I don't know how, but these young blokes wrote songs & lyrics that exactly matched my 46yo life. So good 👍. Do yourself a favour 🤓

The first video I watched of Dax and Tom McDonald - It hit a 🎯 for me in regards to the propaganda methods used in current times. The advantage for governments, world leaders, msm/legacy media and a percentage of BS alternative (scammers) media (that puts the legit ones in a bad light) etc; these days it's easier to spread their propaganda via what the people are looking at/watching ie; phones, tv, as shown in this youtube video. Dax - Propaganda (Feat. Tom MacDonald) [Official Music Video] I found this a few weeks ago. ----- David Hoffman -- youtube -- 1 year ago PROPAGANDA For High School Kids In 1948! Would They Show This Today? During the last almost 5 years I came across a very interesting video about propaganda, I've been trying to search for it on and off. If I eventually find it I'll post it. I wonder how many politicians, governments, world leaders, journalists etc; have done courses, training or seminars in regards to propaganda? I get the feeling a lot.

January 2025 and there are still so many arrogant smug arseholes on all sides of the coin as mentioned in my OP. I recently discovered Puscifer -- Puscifer - The Humbling River with Lyrics -- youtube Kaat’s Corner -- 8 Feb 2012 The band and the lyrics of this song are awesome ❤️ ''The hands of the many must join as one And together we'll cross the river'' -- Puscifer -- Maybe one day the world will evolve to a point where the shit shows I have observed so far in my lifetime will at best happen a lot less often. Love this live version. Puscifer - "The Humbling River (Live)" from "Global Probing" -- youtube pusciferdotcom -- 21 Nov 2023

I came across this during the bs19 lockdown journey here in Victoria, what a sense of humour Shay Bradley must have had during his lifetime. Love that it gave joy and laughter to those in attendance and the many who have viewed the video myself included. I love how many expressed their appreciation for the humour, sharing their stories of their loved ones who kept the spirit of humour alive after they passed. Irish man leaves funny recording for his funeral -- youtube Keydric -- Oct 14, 2019 Irish Funeral Prank An Irish man named Shay Bradley left a pre-recorded message to be played at his funeral, creating a humorous and touching moment for those in attendance. The recording featured Bradley asking, "Hello?" followed by knocking sounds, seemingly coming from inside his coffin. This prank left mourners in tears of laughter, blending humor with grief. The prank was a pre-recorded message that played after his coffin was lowered into the ground, with Bradley asking to be let out and complaining about the darkness. His daughter, Andrea Bradley, posted a video of the incident on social media, which has garnered over a million views and tens of thousands of comments. Many people expressed their appreciation for the humor and shared their own stories of loved ones who kept the spirit of humor alive even after they passed. This incident highlights a unique blend of Irish humor and funeral traditions, reflecting the cultural practice of celebrating the life of the deceased through laughter and joy.
