I wouldn't do it. The fact you need assurance tells me you think it may ruin your own friendship. Say that's really hot but the friendship means more and you don't want to take the chance. If you knew it wouldn't be an issue, you would already be confident with the situation. Take it as a compliment then let it be is what l suggest.

I would say be careful to not ruin/change a friendship.You are young. If your friend brings it up again,talk about how you might all feel the next day/week.eg:If you just rock up to their place for a beer and a chat, will they think you are trying to get a repeat performance happening? What if you turned up at their place and only she was home? Would she feel uncomfortable about that? Would you? Would your friend? Lots of what ifs, but ultimately up to the 3 of you. Just communicate beforehand as much as you all can. Im trying to look at it from a 22 yr olds perspective, but this can sometimes ruin friendships of any age. Or it can end up a great experience for all of you. All the best.

Talk to them together. There's always arguments for and against. Only you can decide. .I think if you're all up front and completely honest with each other - & you're all on the same page there's no reason you can't. The fact you're asking makes me think you're either a really considerate nice guy who thinks a lot of his friends or you have feelings for the girl. If you have feelings for her other than purely physical attraction don't do it.
