Nervous & Nude!

March 06 2011

sex

Hey everyone! As many of you now know I was lucky enough to win the HOTY of the year comp for 2011. As part of my first place prize I won a professional nude photo shoot. I will be going to Brisbane on the 18th March for the photo shoot & I am exstreamly nervous as I have never done a professional shoot before let alone a naked one! I was wondering if any girls who have done this before could give me some tips so I dont freak out while being naked in front of a complete stranger. Sure Ive been naked in front of guys heaps of times before but those where guys I was going to have sex with. This is a completly different situation! Nervous Taby!

Hey Taby. The real professionals are able to get just the right shots not just because of their technical and artistic prowess, but in part because they make the subject relax and feel comfortable posing for them. So don't stress.. and Congratulations! wooohoo! I hope you share the pics with me! :pHUgsGaz

I am a photographer by profession... Never done nudes but specialise in candids and glamours... Yes stalky is right... That happens to everyone.. Even to people who have faced camera for a few times... But yes if the subject co-operates we know what to do to get what we want... Also, don't forget to suggest your own ideas... More than sometimes you know what makes you look at your best... Because more than the body it is more important that how you carry it and flaunt it... Also, face expressions, they change the overall look (in your favor or otherwise) of the outcomes.. Anyways.. you will all of it soon... Love Rocky

Hi TabyI think that one of the reasons people voted for you is not just because you are seriously cute, but because of the personality in posts on here - your willingness to explore and the excitement you showed at crossing new boundaries. After all a lot people on RHP are here for the same reasons. So I suggest you be true to that part of yourself and enjoy the experience as part of your adventure.EnjoyBrad

Hi Taby, I tried getting in touch with you ages ago, but you seemed to have blocked me, oh well.. Anyway I have do some nude modelling (artist model) for a small studio now and then for hens parties, but assume for photographic work its similar. You will be suprised, that once you're naked, that your more relaxed as you forget about things like how does this look etc when you're clothes. I am sure you will have a great photographer who will help keep the environment light and give you plenty of direction. Just remember to have fun, and embrace the moment think of it its your time to shine and you will have loads of fun and great photos! Congratulations and I would have put money on you to have won the comp that you did. I even said to a few friends you'd win. Its funny but about 3 years ago, I when to Penthouse pet of the year party, and I knew about 4 of the pets and I told all my mates that Tameka Dean would win and hey bingo she did. I think my own photographic eye and modelling experience helps me pick up on these things! Enjoy the experience and live life to the fullest :-) Waggy83 x

You have every right to be nervous Taby. My last experience with a professional photographer was for the school photos, and that guy showed no talent in making anyone feel at ease. Why should we assume a photographer who skips to work with a giant smile on his face every morning (ie a nudie photog) didn't do the same course as my school photog? . And what if the professional nudie photog is sick.. and gets his mate who normally takes cute animal photos or once a year Santa shots to stand in? I guess at least he'llbe more nervous than you. So lets cross our fingers and hope for the pro to pull a sickie. . ps - my phone has a camera.. it's 5mp - whatever that means... Just saying... you know - if the animal photo guy calls in sick too.

If the photographer is the same guy that did my pics then you have nothing to worry about...he was awesome, incredibly fun and we had a great time. He made me feel really relaxed and was very professional. A glass of wine while getting ready helped too.Offer still stands if you don't want to go to the shoot alone we are happy to hold your hand. I had Andy with me when mine were done and it helped me feel more comfortable having someone there....oh and I will have to email you or catch you on msn coz it is Andy's birthday that weekend :Pxx Salina

I have been reading the replies to your post, Taby, and I agree with everything everyone is saying. You are beautiful. You deserved to win. You will be working with a pro, and they will likely make you feel at ease...You clearly already have the confidence you need. You just need to remember that fact. But I also want to say you have every right to feel nervous. I am not saying this to make you feel worse. I am merely saying your nerves are justified. It is easy for anyone to say it will be no big deal, but you are the one who has to do it. I think you will do great, and I look forward to seeing the end results. Still, I think you have every right to feel nervous. I sure as hell would :) I think the idea of taking friends. like SalAndy have suggested, is a great idea. I do think you will do great! I hope my empathy has come off as just that, and nothing more. I am not trying to be a dick. I swear :)
