  Tyagarah Beach which is on the edge of the Tyagarah Nature Reserve. 2 hours drive from Brisbane and about 20 minutes from Byron Bay. Turn off Highway into Greys Lane. As you enter the Beach area, clothing optional is to the right. Parking is honest. Cost $8 (or something like that). Police do patrol. Don't forget to pack, sunscreen, manners and beach etiquette. ENJOY! Ms Foxy PS Along the dirt path leading into Tyagarah Reserve is the Tea Trea Lake area. Please don't enter there as it's Aboriginal birthing ground, a sacred women’s area. Many creepy men enter to swim in the water and go shag there. It's not cool.

  Might need to move quickly. Tyagarah could have its clothing option status removed by April 8. Council will decide next week after a 2023 land survey found it had no juristicton over the beach.

  Mrs foxy, you do know it’s not a natural lake… it’s actually a old sand quarry… made in the 70’s before that it was swamp
