Mooks.... My mind is only idle when on a boat, and IT is idling along on a gently rolling sea :-).... further to your thought on the dogs.... a fog will always treat another dog... as a dog. Where we humans.... superior beasts that we are will occasionally treat humans as dogs.... or worse. Who is the nicer animal, I wonder. DG

We humans can be wildly creative, yet strangely boring. The nearest neighbouring star is called Proxima Centauri. And Jupiter has 67 moons with names given from lovers conquests or daughters of the Roman god Zeus. Very cool. But what name do we give OUR star, and moon? The sun.... and the moon. I mean come onnnnnn, try a little harder!!!!! :-)

Replace "tree fell in a forest" with "huge angry crocodile infiltrated Parliament House", and "fell on a Greenie" with "ate Tony Abbot".

I'm courious about courious... If one can be overwhelmed and underwhelmed, can one be just whelmed? Why is it when I hit my funny bone, it's not funny at all? :( If there was only one Papa Smurf and Smurfette is his daughter, where did all the other Smurfs come from??? Foxy

You transport a fly in your car, 100klm from home base, does he get homesick, mix in with the other flys in the neighbourhood, or find his way back home again.

Quoting 'mooka' What came first, orange as in the fruit, or orange as in the colour? In the case as fruit, orange came first then the colour orange was developed as bright colour reds oranges are a result of stress to trees, some trees even pretend to be stressed. what came first ; wake or sleep? Mado Tara xx

... a green or lemon a yellow Why do people struggle with the concept of inter-species communication or even between the same species ... say 2 dogs from different parts of the globe? Why is that seen as being any different from people travelling to foreign countries & being completely oblivious to the native tongue??? No matter what language we speak, we can all recognise basic feelings in the eyes of another, such as fear, happiness, annoyance and pleasure etc. There is no animal that does not demonstrate it's soul personality and no animal that cannot show you with looks and expressions in it's eyes (sometimes significantly, sometimes you have to look closely) of feelings identical to our own. So why do some people still not see that and why do some people still have no respect for them as beings with needs, wants and purposes of their own? Why do people maintain that humans are the only or ultimate form of existence??? But on a lighter note ... ... if the speed of dark was equal to the departing speed of light - does it not stand to reason that the speed of dark equals the speed of light??? ... whats the point of steralising lethal injections??? ... and quicksand ... works slowly ... go figure

If a person is born deaf, what language do they think in? The language he she is learning to read Does a Chihuahua recognise a Great Dane as another dog? YES FOR SURE DOG IS DOG....doesnt matter what size In this modern age, are we creating a society incapable of person to person communication? No because we still crave the human touch and I would say there is no woman alive who doesn't talk. If a tree fell in the forest, does anyone care if it fell on a Greenie? YES I WOULD

Quoting 'Luckdragon23' Replace "tree fell in a forest" with "huge angry crocodile infiltrated Parliament House", and "fell on a Greenie" with "ate Tony Abbot". throw a greeny in front of him. Is it true greenies stand shouting at parliament with their clothes made in china, their leather shoes and handing out tons of paper? So for me let the tree fall on em all and the crocs feast well on all the rest

Are people more violently opposed to fur rather than leather because it’s much easier to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs? If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done? What is a "free" gift? Aren’t all gifts free? Why does your nose run, and your feet smell? Why don’t tomb, comb, and bomb sound alike?

@FoxxyI have no idea where all the Smurfs come from cos Smurfette isn't even Papa Smurfs daughter and she was one of the last smurfs... She was created by the wizard as a trap (guessing maybe the writers had been played by too many women haha)

Some of Murphy's Laws of Combat: 1. If the enemy is in range, SO ARE YOU 2. Try to look unimportant, the enemy may be low on ammo 3. Never draw fire, it irritates those around you 4. A sucking chest wound is nature's way of telling you to slow down 5. Teamwork is essential, it gives them someone else to shoot at 6. Never share a foxhole with someone braver than you 7. Friendly fire isn't 8. No matter which way you march, it is always uphill 9. When the pin is pulled, Mr Grenade is not your friend 10. Always remember that your weapon was made by the lowest bidder. Quoting 'RunAwayJoinCircz' Quoting 'madotara69' To ponder, all that war could have been sorted over a game of football. True, but a few wars (or at least pitched battles) have been started by Football too, so maybe Foosball? Generally has a less skinhead/neo-nazi fanbase I'm told :) Or Air-Hockey, although that can get a little heated too in my experience. Is there any act of competition that can't escalate into a war? Anyhoo back to the topic.... he is just bored, bahahaha

Couldn't play the guitar if my life depended on it. Though all songs that come to mind are of the story told within. Though a story told by those during the war, was of messages called across the lines, to cease fire and have a game of football was had by those enemies, if that is what you refer too. Something that happened amongst people just there doing what others meant them to do. For a short while they all stopped killing each other, surely worth remembering.

Mado, you have blown the myth about drummers, for you are correct. WW1, Western Front of Europe, Christmas Eve, the Germans started singing Christmas Carols, the British responded from their own trenches. The next day both sides crawled out of their trenches and shook hands, exchanged gifts, even football matches were started. In some areas, the truce lasted until after New Years Day. Alas, they soon went back to killing each other ...

I have often pondered to what that moment would have meant, for men in such fear for family and one another, themselves for home, just a brief time some happiness to laying down those guns. Could only have been there to really know to it. Lest not forget.

I "slept like a baby" ... I mean a baby wakes up every two or so hours wanting a feed..., is that really a good sleep?? Waking up every couple of hours wanting a feed?? or is it because when babies sleep they look content and peaceful after they've had a good feed??? and why do people say "it's the best thing since sliced bread"...well what was before sliced bread? or "It's better than hot chips", is all they eat is hot chips and they've tasted other foods??
