  BrightBubbly needs a name for herself, not a team name. Each player in a roller derby team has a pseudonym that they use for the bouts :)

  I really love Curly Whirly... I was thinking something dirty but they say that lots of kids come to watch etc so really not sure that would be approproate !!! Keep them coming though.

  Wrecking ball? Derby is really starting to get popular these days.I do inline and roller hockey but derby is probably more popular atm.

  An explosive device known as a "Bouncing Betty" so if you break through the pack or take people out you could be known as the bouncing Betty or if you don't wear a bra ........ Same thing I love the roller derby

  Just thought I would update, for those who might be interested... I chose the name Curly Whurly (Thanks Mea !!!) Training started a couple of weeks ago and it is so much fun. I did go skating a couple of times before training started and had a huge fall and injured the tendons in my elbow but I don't social skate now without wearing ALL of my safety gear. I am really loving it, the ladies are all so friendly and I am having an absolute blast...
