Screenshots Recorded in chat

August 06 2024

Was have a great conversation and sharing when we exchanged photos, then she sent a video. But RHP servers just sat there with a spinning g wheel, thanks guys!!! So I thought I would send her a screen shot of my frustration if her video not loading. But then it records this in the conversation WTF we are adults but did not get to send the photo she blocked me 😓😥🥹 Red hot stop with the nannying, sorry admin u suck!!

Personally I think it’s fair enough to let someone know u have taken a screenshot of their photo. Especially if it is an explicit one shared privately

Given that there are so many pic collectors on here, I think it’s good that RHP notifies when a screenshot is taken.

You seriously didn't know was a feature? And nah, bullshit. I want to know when people are screenshotting my content without permission. Its dodge.

Guilty of screenshotting in the past. Whoops. For my own pleasure/practicality in finding someone later. Would be nice to be informed beforehand rather than a notification sent after the fact. Times have changed! Though I appreciate that it is less likely my pics could be used in other settings. Fine if people view mine for their own personal pleasure

Did you contact admin and express your "frustration"? Posting a forum up and calling admin "nannys" and posting, "sorry, admin you suck" isn’t going to help your case. She's blocked you. Move on. Ms Foxy

If we suspect , that a profile photo or photos that are in a users PUBLIC gallery, have been “stolen” off the Internet, yes we will screenshot and from there do a reverse image search. 9 times out of 10, a reverse search has shown that the photo(s) are found elsewhere . Naturally this is done after receiving an unsolicited message by the profile in question. What we then do is to report the profile to admin and also let the profile owner know that we have screenshotted & reported the stolen photos to admin. If someone messages us private photos / face photos, we do not screenshot these. Provided the profile does not appear to be fake. Not sure if there is any other way to do a reverse image search besides first screenshotting it and saving it one’s phone?

So it's a nanny state for advising someone screenshotted without their permission?? Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should. I think its a total invasion of privacy and an overstep of boundaries

I thinks it’s a good thing .although I came un stuck once ,screen shooting a part of a conversation that we were having , was being lazy and wanted to send it to Mrs b , and yup screen shot taken etc came up , only thing I’d say is would be good if it notified exactly what was screenshot ,worked out fine as I messaged straight away to explain myself but I have to admit to feeling so dumb and nervous about looking like Pervy Mc pervison while waiting for a reply back ,won’t be doing that again which in effect for the pic collectors and shit heads that’s a good thing to have on a site like this

When I was super new ... I used to screen shot and Google reverse image, to make sure I wasn't being 'cat fished'. Many times (verified profiles though not validated) found pics weren't theirs. I think it's more rife with female profiles. Assumed, at that time, any pic I was sharing - the other was doing the same. With experience this becomes redundant. Someone a quite a few months ago screenshot my conversation.. that made me really uncomfortable and put me off immediately. How I feel about it now. I'd like to know if someone does it... Then I can decide how I feel about continuing things.

I usually screenshot people I am interested. When in a wanting moody, I scroll though the pictures, pick a flavour and make contact. As a long term user (15+yrs) the recent changes are a deterrent. • Limited time to reply to messages • Monitoring sreenshots of photographs • AI video verification • Not being able to view messages (have notified RHP team yet this has not been fixed)

You’ll find if you were using your phone app to view the video then, yes sometimes the app doesn’t show the video or is glitchy. Maybe your phone or internet speed as well. Try using your internet browser and log into website to view the video next time. Works for us. As for taking a screenshot of something shared personal, we 100% support RHP notification of a screenshot. Being on the app doesn’t authorise anyone saving the picture outside the constraints of the app. We would have blocked you immediately too.

There’s are rules in place and screenshotting someone’s private photos isnt cool . I’ve also noticed people are including in their bio if you use their image for what ever purpose that it can be considered illegal as you haven’t been given permission to do so . Admin is there to protect the user

This one is rather tricky.. It does break down to something though; While the 'alert for a screenshot' feature is a good idea.. There's a big catch; When it comes to any form of tech, golden rule is "nothing is secure"... I'm not going to elaborate (common sense reasons) Ultimately, it breaks down to this; If you are going to share anything, with anyone - it is up to each individual to weigh up the 'risks'.. Only said individual would know what the potential risk is, eg; a risk to one person, is not to another. This is an area where it truly is a case of people need to be aware, be mindful, and take some responsibility for their actions. Not meaning this to be harsh or anything like that - just, direct + clear. Cheers =)

I don’t understand exactly what went on. Videos were shared. Photos exchanged. Someone got blocked. It’s a fickle environment. Did you clean the bathroom mirror? Remove the dirty underwear from the chandelier? It’s not RHP’s fault. We are all pretty intense with a feisty high libido and with one hand in our pants on a hair trigger for sure. Why RHP? Why did the line drop out just as I was getting close?

I truly believe that screenshot must be banned in this app to increase folks safety and privacy
