Seeking general feedback

Hey! I’m relatively new here, and just looking for general feedback from women in the community. Feedback on my profile, plus any tips on my initial contact messages. I’m fully aware of how lopsided the male:female ratio is here (and other similar apps) so I’m not expecting some secret ingredient that doesn’t exist. Just more wanting to know if there’s any glaringly obvious things I should change on my profile or in my messages when I’m trying to strike up a connection with someone. I never send a “Hey” or some lazy ass shit like that. I will always read the profile completely, and typically I’ll write something like “Hi ! Hope you’re having a great week. I enjoyed reading your profile. The bit about xyz in particular resonated with me. I’d love to chat and get to know you a little more if you’re open to that. I’ve put a bit of effort into my bio so that will give you a good feel for my values and what I’m here for. Hope to hear from you! 😊” Of course there are many variations of this but it’s always that sort of flavour. Warm, friendly, shows interest in their bio, and shows I’ve actually read it. Sometimes I’ll add “I understand you’re probably drowning in messages, but hopefully mine cuts through the noise” or something similar. Oh and I also give access to my private gallery as well which includes several face pictures, nothing explicit, in fact not even a shirtless pic. Just a variety of wholesome pics of me cooking or jogging or with my cat, but all clear face pics. So that’s been my approach but the response rate is appallingly low, and I’ve been assuming it’s mainly due to the absolutely lopsided nature of guys outnumbering girls to such a disproportionate degree that this is just the reality. 🤷‍♂️ But I’m here to get slapped with the brutality of the community. 😂 I know you guys never hold back. So hit me! Be gentle please. 🙈

Sounds like you are doing all the right things! You'll be fine, just be patient. It'll happen with the right, cool, sexy women if you are willing to wait.

Your second last paragraph is exactly why. Your approach and how you explain your profile and pics is fine. Just keep at it and eventually you will connect with the right lass. But it can seriously take some time and effort. All the best

Well, so many state they are "Discreet". So I dare say your profile name gets skipped because it's tedious and alerts red flags. Therefore I highly doubt you work for ASIO, Russian/Italian Mafia. Ms Foxy

I can honestly say that if we were in the same state, and you messaged me, I would have responded. The honesty in your profile and what you’ve written here would have appealed to me, and I hope someone in NSW joins soon that is drawn to you!
