  Shoot ones self in the foot. My son-in-law speaks 6 languages. English is his 3rd language. When I stated the above quote, he was so confused and looked stunned like a dear in head lights. He stated, "Shoot their foot? Why would someone hurt themselves like that". He literally thought a person had shot their own foot. 🤭 🤣🤣 Aussie slang can be quite confusing at times. Ms Foxy
